Island Beach Escape has local wallabies who visit the property most evenings, a large and solemn goanna who “owns” the driveway when he decides to take a walk, soaring flocks of vibrant parrots and tiny blue wrens searching the undergrowth for tasty morsels.
Pennington Bay is a stunning surf and fishing beach only 5 minutes from the house.
Climbing to the top of Prospect Hill allows you to simultaneously look at the Southern Ocean, the waters of Eastern Cove and Pelican Lagoon – a true 360⁰ view.
There are many good walks for guests of all abilities close by with information available at the property.
Fishing charters can be booked with local operators, or for those who have their own equipment healthy stocks of King George Whiting, Snapper, Garfish, Snook, Sand Crabs and Squid can be found in the bay.
