Initial reservation enquiries will be attended to expediently by the owner, however the booking must be confirmed in writing and relevant deposit paid to be deemed booked. The guest booking must provide full contact details so that owner can confirm reservation requirements are correct.
Island Beach Escape provides accommodation for up to 10 guests. Rates are subject to change however the price you are quoted on booking is correct at the time of the correspondence and will not change once a booking and deposit have been accepted. There is a minimum stay of 3 nights unless otherwise specified or arranged with owner.
A deposit of 20% of the full accommodation cost is required to secure the booking (minimum deposit is $200). Reservation will only be deemed confirmed on receipt of this deposit in the bank account of Island Beach Escape. A written receipt will be forwarded to the client affirming the booking. Balance of payment is due 60 days prior for peak season and 30 days prior for other seasons. Failure to pay the balance of the accommodation by the due date will result in cancellation of the booking. The deposit will only be returned if the terms specified in the cancellation policy are met. Bookings received within 60 days (peak) or 30 days(other) of occupation will require full payment at time of booking.
Any cancellations must be in writing a minimum of 60 days (peak) or 30 days (other) prior to occupation date. If received within this time frame the client will receive 50% of their deposit, the remainder being retained by Island Beach Escape as a cancellation fee. Should the cancellation occur less than 60 days (peak) or 30 days (other) prior to the occupation date the whole deposit and/or other monies paid will be forfeited unless the property is rebooked. Should, for any reason, Island Beach Escape exercise its right to cancel or reallocate accommodation a full refund of any deposit or monies paid will be returned to the client.
Payment options and procedures
Payment of deposit and/or balance may be made through the options provided by Island Beach Escape and full details of guests including primary guest’s name, address and full contact details, number of additional guests and children’s ages must be supplied.
A bond may be requested in addition to the accommodation costs. Island Beach Escape will hold this as security to cover any loss or damage which may arise from the client’s stay at the property. The primary guest accepts responsibility for the actions of any other persons staying at the property in relation to loss, damage or theft. Should there be no damage or loss to the property the bond will be refunded directly to the client.
The client is required to leave Island Beach Escape in the same clean and tidy condition in which it was found. Failure to leave the property in a clean and tidy condition may result in a cleaning fee being charged to the client and deducted from the bond.
Smoking is not permitted inside Island Beach Escape
No pets are permitted on the property.
Loss damage or injury
Island Beach Escape accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage or theft of property or personal injury that may occur throughout the duration of occupation to any guest, invitee or other person. Guests must take responsibility for their own safety at all times and take necessary precautions to avoid injury. Any damage or loss must be reported immediately to the owner.
The South Australian Tourism Commission releases photographs and/or video footage solely for the purpose of positive promotion of South Australia as a tourism and travel destination. Any breach of this condition may result in legal action. Please visit their website at southaustralia.com
